Our Microsoft Security accreditations and what they mean for you

Credentials and accreditations are an excellent way to get a feel for the calibre of a partner and their commitments. As an MSSP delivering Microsoft native managed security services through a channel model, we have heavily focused on attaining the highest level of Microsoft security accreditations available. We want to show our partners and their customers that we are one of the top Microsoft Security partners globally.

Chorus Cyber holds three of the most significant Microsoft security credentials available to any partner. We are a Microsoft Security Elite Partner, a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) and our managed security services have achieved Microsoft-verified MXDR solution status. Globally, only a small group of organisations hold all three, which puts us in rare company and is something we are extremely proud of.

In this article, we outline what these three Microsoft security accreditations mean, why they’re important and the benefits they bring to our partners and customers.

Microsoft Security Elite Partner

The Microsoft Security Elite Partner program is an invite-only community that recognises partners with deep, proven capability across the Microsoft security stack, a strong track record of customer outcomes and ongoing investment in technical expertise.

It means we work with Microsoft and their security product, engineering and partner communities. We get early access to Microsoft security roadmaps, upcoming releases and emerging capabilities before they are widely available. That keeps our services ahead of the curve and means the guidance we give you is shaped by where Microsoft security is heading, ensuring you also stay aligned to the latest best practices.

The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association has grown into a vibrant ecosystem comprised of the most reliable and trusted security vendors across the globe. Our members, like Chorus Cyber, share Microsoft’s commitment to collaboration within the cybersecurity community to improve our customers’ ability to predict, detect, and respond to security threats faster.

Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) membership

MISA is Microsoft’s ecosystem of leading security partners with around 300 globally. This is for organisations that have demonstrated genuine depth in Microsoft security technology and shown they can protect customers at scale.

As a MISA member, we work within a global community of Microsoft security specialists, with access to exclusive threat intelligence, product updates, roadmap briefings and direct collaboration with Microsoft security teams. That intelligence feeds directly into our CSOC, our detection rules and the way we respond to emerging threats. Beyond access, MISA membership also gives us the opportunity to influence how Microsoft security products develop, through private previews, focus groups and direct input to Microsoft engineering teams. That means the services we deliver are shaped by real-world security operations.

For our partners and customers, MISA membership means you are supported by an organisation plugged into the centre of the Microsoft security ecosystem. When new threats emerge or Microsoft releases a major security update, we are among the first to know about it and act on it.

Microsoft-verified MXDR Solution status

This is the credential we are most proud of. Microsoft Verified MXDR Solution status means that Microsoft Security engineering has independently reviewed and audited our MXDR service and confirmed it meets a high bar for managed security delivery across Microsoft technologies.

Globally, about 100 organisations hold this status. It is independent verification that the service we deliver is architected and operated to a standard that protects customers using Microsoft technologies and that Microsoft endorse.

For partners, this removes a significant question from your sales conversations. Your customers do not have to take your word for it or ours but instead Microsoft’s.

Security designations and advanced specialisations

Beyond our top-tier credentials, Chorus Cyber also holds the Microsoft Solutions Partner designation for Security, along with advanced specialisations in Threat Protection and Cloud Security. These validate specific technical depth in areas your customers care most about: detecting and responding to threats and securing cloud environments effectively.

These designations require demonstrated customer success, growth, advanced certifications and expertise, and customer references.

How this supports our service delivery

These credentials translate into tangible practical benefits for the partners and customers we support.

  • Earlier sight of Microsoft security developments, so our services evolve ahead of threats and take advantage of upcoming capabilities
  • Direct access to Microsoft security teams and threat intelligence, feeding into our 24x7x365 CSOC
  • Independent validation of our service quality, giving your customers verifiable confidence
  • Stronger partner credibility, because the accreditations we hold reflect on the services you bring to market
  • Better detection and response outcomes, built on a service architecture that Microsoft has reviewed and audited

Why this matters when you are choosing a partner

Choosing the right MSSP to work with to expand and strengthen your services is a critical decision. Having these accreditations is one way that we can show our expertise and prove the quality of the services we deliver for our partners.

If you are a customer assessing Chorus Cyber, our Microsoft accreditations give you a clear, verifiable signal: our services are built on proven expertise and have been validated by Microsoft directly.

If you are an MSP partner, they give you something concrete to bring to customer conversations. You are not asking your customers to trust an unknown name. You are offering them access to one of a small number of globally verified Microsoft managed security providers.

Accreditations are just one part of the story

Credentials matter, but we know that the real value and proof is in the security outcomes we deliver.
